December 30- Lounging pool side, Reagan loves talking on the phone... time to get her an unlimited plan.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from Guam!

 Christmas was very low key this year. Paul had to work Christmas night so we had Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve.  Christmas morning surprisingly Reagan was not up too early.  We opened presents and had breakfast.  Most of the day we enjoyed time as a family.

A few of the hotels had some Christmas decorations so we went to go check them out.  The Hilton 

(our old home) had a train display in the lobby.

 Reagan did not want her picture with Santa (even though he was a mannequin)

but liked the carabbo.

 The Hyatt had beautiful Christmas Trees and a life size Gingerbread house.  A few nights during the week they even had Santa.  We went to go see Santa and poor Reagan wanted nothing to do with him.

 Wondering if we would notice if Reagan stole a cookie off of the house.

 Facts about the Gingerbread House:

- its the largest gingerbread house built on Guam

- stands 12 feet tall

- 144 square feet

- All gingerbread bricks, icing, cookies, and candy on the house are edible

- it took over 400 home baked gingerbread bricks to cover the house

- 800 pounds of royal icing were used for cement and snow

- over 800 cookies were baked to decorate the house

 To create the Gingerbread and icing it took:

- 360 egg whites

- 100 pounds of powder sugar

- 500 pounds of flour

- 200 pounds of honey

- 100 pounds of sugar

- 4 gallons of water

- 2.5 pounds of ginger powder

- 2.5 pounds of cinnamon

- 2.5 pounds of  cloves

- 5 pounds mixed spice

- 7.5 gallons of milk

December 23  Reagan is such a big helper Loving on Hunter

December 24 It was the night before Christmas and all through the apartment... Visions of sugar plums danced in their heads

365: Deceember 9 - 15

 December 9 -  Playing on the swings, Reagan loving on Hunter, life is good in the Ergo Baby

December 10 - What is going on around here?  Bike riding and swinging

December 11 - What's up?

December 12 - Great view for a 6am feeding, Ergo Baby love, playing on the swings again

December 13- Sleeping and tears... some days can be rough

 December 15- Went to the Hilton to see the train display and the Hyatt to see the life size gingerbread house
