So what will Baby Hearn be....

To me this post seems a little early but..... this is on my mind and all around me at the moment. I have opened a poll for you to cast your vote for what you think Baby Hearn will be and you have over a 100 days to decide...

I have been thinking about this a lot and hoped that it might give me some direction (if that's the way I want to go) as to what Baby Hearn (BH) will be. We have lots of friends around us who are expecting and with working at the pool I also see LOTS of pregnant women. Friends are due with a GIRL in Sept, a BOY in Oct, a Girl in Nov, and all of the people at the pool so far are having BOYS. Us in Dec having ?? only God knows.

So what is the cycle... everyone says that boys and girls come in a cycle.... So my question is what is the cycle right now????? I don't really care what BH is as long as it is healthy... sleeps... eats... poops... and sleeps... ha ha joking. No really that it is just healthy!

Paul thinks that it is a girl.... me I have no clue.

Do Old wives tales really give you a clue?
How are you carrying? You cant really even see the bump... as Aimee says it looks like you ate too much pizza and bread sticks.
Sweets.... Ummm yes please! BUT I have always had a thing for sweets.
Heartbeat
.... It has been above 140 every time.
Sickness... I feel that it wasn't as bad as other people that I know.

I am really torn between knowing and still waiting. I love the fun of making everyone wait because now a days everyone finds out. ** To all of our friends who are pregnant and know what they are having I am very excited for you! And it actually lets me live vicarious through you! and still get our own surprise later!

~Is it better to find out or wait??
~ Do old wives tales really mean anything??
~ Do genders of babies really come in a cycle??

Discover Myrtle Beach

For a week in June we went to Myrtle Beach with some awesome friends. We have been planning this trip for a year when we were at Sawgrass in June of 2009. It was a great time of sitting at the beach, pool, eating great food (well most of the time), and enjoying the entertainment around us.

Saturday everyone arrived at our house bright and early to get on the road for the East Coast. The guys packed up all of our stuff and piled into one car and us ladies piled into another. And we were off to a week in the sun!!

Our First night of dinner was a Dick's... the waiters are the nicest people ever (all sarcasm)!

Dinner at Tripps and then to Crocodile Rocks for the Dueling Piano Bar...
Crocodile Rocks is an AWESOME place and if you don't have fun there.... it's probably your fault.

We went to the House of Blues and while having dinner asked our waiter about the comedian that was performing because we were planning on going to the show. Shortly after talking to the waiter a women came over and gave our group FREE tickets to go see the comedian. SCORE!! He was so funny. We got our picture with him and then headed to the patio to listen to live music and watch Lori do the short arm wave.

Hanging out at the pool.Juan and Paul..... like long lost brothers
and meeting new friends

Grilling out for the night

After grilling out we went back to our room and the girls played Mexican Train and the boys played Poker

Hanging out at Senor Frogs... Thanks Shaun for the coupons for free admission!

Yum water!
Our final dinner at Rioz

It was a great trip together!
And we had a lot of laughs!

Oh baby,baby, baby oh baby,baby

There is so much going on with vacations (post coming soon), weddings (post coming soon), and preparing for the baby. It seems like time is flying but still moving so slow. Paul and I have agreed on a crib and a few other furniture pieces (pictures to come soon). Now I am just patiently waiting for him to get back home for us to go buy them (not one of my strongest points, I don't usually do waiting when it comes to shopping).

I went to the doctor's today and everything is still going great and I got to hear a strong heartbeat again. Next appointment would be the big one.... if we were finding out. But it will be exciting to see how much the baby has grown from the last u/s.

P.S. wish me luck that I fit in my Bridesmaid dress.

Telling the Families..

With not living close to our parents I wanted breaking the news to be fun...

Well not everything always goes as planned, but I have realized that and sometimes you just have to deal with it and move on. And sharing our news was nothing different. For so long Paul and I kept our mouths shut about expecting that when it was time to crack we hoped it would of gone better... for some of the family.

We broke on the Saturday before Mother's Day. We sent Mother's day cards late (yes late like on Friday afternoon) and Paul's grandmother got hers at 9am. COME on postal service if this was a bill you would of waited till Monday. We did not think that the mail would get to North AL until Monday... wrong! SO the secret was out and we had to deal with that.... ugh. But I think everyone is happy and we shall move on.

When the news broke in N.AL I had to call my mom.
Me: what she was up to? Is dad around or working?
Mom: Making lunch for the workers (parents were getting a bathroom remodeled) and your dad is here want to talk to him?
Me: No not really just wanted to check in and also I am a slacker and sent your card and present late and was going to email you a picture of what we got you.
Mom: OK I'm going to get the computer (as she yells to my dad Sarah's on the phone)
I am sitting in front of the computer just waiting to click send..
Mom: OK have you sent if yet.
Me: yes, it should be there in a minute
Mom:......... (silence).......... its a baby.

It was pretty funny to hear my mom say that know the look on my dad's face of what is that. My dad said he thought it was going to be a picture of a dog. Sorry not this time maybe soon.

For my older sister Hilary---
Me:Hey Hil! How are you? I have a question can you get us into Disney (she works there) sometime next year but there are going to be 3 people.
Hilary: Fine and then continues talking.... well let me know sooner to when your coming, are you staying here or at a resort?
Me: Well I don't know how you will feel, we will have a 3rd person with us.
Hilary: Well it doesn't matter is it a friend or something?
Me: No your niece or nephew......
Hilary:........... WHAT (in a high squeak)... WHAT
I was just laughing and laughing I thought it was so funny.

For Paul's brother Patrick and my brother Nathan- they are both getting married this summer so we asked them if we could bring someone else with us to the wedding. Patrick caught on pretty fast but Nathan was still wondering what was going on for a minute.

For Paul's older brother and my younger sister we just told them... nothing exciting at all. But they were still pretty happy.

When sharing our news with the family members I wish I was a fly on the wall and would of gotten pictures of their faces.... they would of been priceless!
