8

Not only is Reagan 8 months old.... it is also Father's Day!!!
She is awesome!  We just love her to pieces.

She eats very well... the usual stuff fruits and veggies.  Chicken, beef, mac and cheese, vanilla waters, Jax's, and french fries.

Reagan also sleeps great.  She sleeps all night long and occasionally will wake up if she cant find her paci... but to me... we are sleeping all night long.  Lately we have gotten away from taking 2 real naps.  She usually catches a cat nap a little after breakfast and then takes a longer nap after lunch.

Paul had to work Sunday so we are going to celebrate on Monday.  Around here any day around the "day" is the holiday for us!

Our own mini Vaca

What do you do when Reagan's away???

GO TO

(picture from Google images)

For years, (6 to be exact), we always talked about going to Six Flags.  Well we never would go this was going on, that was going on... you know the drill.  Well when the opportunity presents its self might as well take advantage of it.  Paul and I did some running around in the early morning and then left around lunch and got to Six Flags.  The weather was great!  The lines were short!  We rode all of the "good" rides at least twice.  After riding everything I have to agree with Paul that Superman IS/WAS the BEST ride!!!

Now when I go to ATL to pick up Paul and we pass Six Flags... I will now say, "That was an awesome day".  Not, "Man we really need to go!"  Well I will probably say we need to go again.

We also went to see Bridesmaids.  Super funny movie!  You should go see it!

Reagan's Own Little Vacation

I asked my parents to keep Reagan for a few days (like Saturday to Tuesday), well then I started thinking about it.  Paul is off for 4 days... what is the chance that my parents will keep her ALL WEEK....  Well as I always say the worst anyone can say is NO.  SOOOO I asked and got a YES!!  A WHOLE WEEK with no baby what do you do?  Sad but exciting all at the same time I left Reagan for a week with my parents. I felt really bad about doing it, but they did agree to keep her.  Paul was going to be off (few and far between) and we could spend some time together just the TWO of us.

Can you say AWESOME Grandparents!!  I CAN!
THANKS MOM AND DAD  FOR KEEPING REAGAN!!!
She had a blast!

I flew out Friday night and the weekend of Grandparent fun began.  After dropping me off at the airport my mom and Reagan went shopping at Target to get a few warmer outfits.  Who didn't know that it would be a chilly 70 degrees in Pittsburgh in June?  Well when it has been in the 90's at home you just don't think about those things.  But I'm sure Reagan loved it.

While I was at a baby shower on Sunday this is what I was greeted with on my phone.  Reagan playing in my pool.

Sunday hanging out in the pool in her
cute Dollar store bathing suit.  Yes the Dollar Store.
Who would of thought that something that cute would
come from there?  Thanks Aunt Annette!

I called twice a day to check on Reagan and she was doing great.  Even if she wasn't they still wouldn't tell me that.  My mom kept Reagan Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  My dad had her Wednesday and Friday.  When I talked to my dad on Friday he said that Friday was a much better day than Wednesday.  They were having a great time together.....

During her week with Grammy and Popski they were busy and had plenty of visitors.

Eating chips over the sink... and Cole ready to catch one.

Hanging out in the pool

Play time... it was nice weather in Pittsburgh, but for Alabama standards.. it was chilly.

Aunt Mel came over to visit for a lunch date.

Lunch was SOOO good!

Marcus and Hannah came over to hang out for a little bit.  Reagan was very
entertained by them.

Hannah was reading to Reagan... one of her favorite things

Xander and Madalyn came over for a visit also.  They were the last visitors before it was time for Reagan to come back home.
Reagan just loves being around people and this trip was far from short of people
being around.

Since the visit went SO WELL... maybe this might be a yearly thing for Reagan to do?!?!?!

Paul and I did miss Reagan A LOT and even said it a few times while she was away.  But we were still happy to have our time together just the two of us.  Crazy how a baby changes everything.  Saturday morning Paul and I both flew out, Paul to work and me to Pittsburgh.  I was so excited to see Reagan.  When I got in the car she was sleep... sad but it didn't last for long but I loved on her as fast as I could.

Side Note:  When I was growing up I always went and spent time with my Grammy and it was always the best.  We would stay up late, sleep in, garden, play cards, and just enjoy each others company.... just the two of us.  I hope Reagan can make those great memories with her Grammy.
Reagan's shirt says:
Grandma and Grandpa love me!

Visit to Pittsburgh... again

After being delayed in Charlotte for a day we finally made it to Pittsburgh.  Reagan was a great flier again.  It was great to finally see Grammy and Popski.  On Tuesday we went to Rita's and Regan got to try it for the first time.  She loved it and looked like a little bird opening her mouth letting us know she wanted a little more.  Sorry no pictures I totally forgot my camera and my phone.  Oh bad move mom.  We went again but Reagan was sleeping and didn't get any.  Next time...  While I was in PIT we were busy the whole 3 days.  Went to visit Aunt Linda, Uncle Larry, and Larry, went shopping for dresses for Mimi's wedding, and I have no idea what else.  On Friday I left to head back to BHM and Regan stayed in PIT for the week.  YES you read that right I left my 7.5 month old for a week.

Dinner at Grammy and Popski's  carrots and potatoes from pot roast

Reagan eating some Jax's (the best cheese puff ever.  Better then Golden Flake cheese puffs and Cheetos)  Loved them just like her mom!

On this earth

Reagan has been blessing our lives for 33 weeks and 5 days..... That's as long as I was pregnant!  We would not trade her for the world.  Paul and I love seeing her grow and change everyday.  Her personality is just coming to life.  She is an awesome little girl and I cant wait to see her grow through the years.

Visit to Charlotte

On May 25th our summer fun travel began.  We headed to Charlotte to visit Uncle Nathan, Aunt Annette, and GiGi for Memorial Day Weekend.  It was a great time sitting by the pool and getting some sun.

On Saturday we went to Speed Street (a NASCAR thing downtown were they close a few streets, hand out LOTS of free stuff and have entertainment for kids and LOTS of NASCAR stuff).

On Sunday Paul and Nathan went to the Charlotte Coca~Cola 600.  The Girls stayed home by the pool.

The guys at the race.

Monday morning we hung out by the pool

Monday evening we tried to go to Pittsburgh but we didnt' make it out of CLT because flights filled up so we went back to Nathan and Annette's and tried again Monday.  We finally made it out Monday after sitting in the airport for 3 hours... but it was ALL good.

Hanging at the BIG pool

After getting back from Paul's parents house, Paul cut the grass... then we were off to the pool.  It was chilly Paul and Reagan were the only ones who got in.  I sat on the side and took pictures.  After Reagan had, had enough of the chilly pool we sat on the side dipping our feet in and people watching.  She sat there and was happy to watch everyone in the pool.  And wondered why the boys jumping in the pool were splashing her.
Testing out her new float

 People watching

More watching! ha ha
