Polynesian Party: Aimee's Shower

On April 28th Reagan and I tried to get to Pittsburgh for Aimee's Shower. There were no seats on any flights (flew stand-by) so we had to wait till Friday to go. But it all worked in the end. We didnt make it on the 615 flight out of BHM so we had to wait for the 745. Got on that one! And headed to CLT on USAir. Once we arrived into CLT we headed to the gate and met up with Nathan and Annette. We were going to be on their flight to PIT. They were bringing GiGi home with them... their new Golden Retriever puppy. We looked like a circus group walking the airport.

I went to go get something to eat and left Reagan with Nathan and Annette and

there were people walking past commenting on them flying with a baby and a dog.

Nathan said, Oh no the baby is my sisters.

While at the airport GiGi was just laying at Nathans feet so Reagan didnt get a good look at her...

but once in the car heading home...

Reagan just loved GiGi. Reagan's face would just light up when she saw the dog.

Reagan was sitting in her chair, but once she went into the kitchen to eat... GiGi took up

residence in her seat.

Cole was happy that GiGi had finally left him alone, then Reagan had to visit with him.

She loved him sticking his big head in her face. They are going to be the best of friends.

The Shower was Saturday at an awesome restaurant called Spadafora's. The owner used to by my

Spanish. The food is GREAT and Aimee had a good turnout.

We tried to fly back home Sunday but all of the flights filled up, why I dont know but that ment we

were staying in PIT another night. I talked to a Delta agent and she said in the morning looked good. Our flight left at 5:55 Monday morning, can you say EARLY! So that meant that we had to get up at 3... ugh. But it actually worked out just as I had planned. We were on the 555 Delta flight to ATL. Ran to the 820 flight out of ATL. We had a slight delay in PIT which meant that we would be cutting it close on our connection. As soon as we got off the plane we ran to our connecting flt and walked right onto our plane. We landed in BHM around 820 (yes 820, time change) and then we were on our way to school.... Talk about a LONG day.

Reagan is a FANTASTIC traveler!! She is happy to be strapped in the ERGO baby and take in the sights of the airport.
